Inspired by the legendary sounds of tape echo machines and vintage analog delays, the TC Electronic Alter Ego V2 captures the essence of classic delay effects while offering modern versatility and convenience.
This compact pedal comes with 9 presets designed to faithfully recreate the lush, warm echoes of yesteryear's most revered delay units. There is also a TonePrint setting, where you can get can preload signature versions of delays made by music’s finest. On TC Electronic's TonePrint Editor, you can try presets made by rock royalty and guitar personalities or create your own Then, there's a setting that allows you to use the Alter Ego as a simple looper.
The controls are straightforward—one knob to select the Delay Type, then "Level" controls the amount of effect, "Time" sets the length of the delay, and "Feedback" controls the number of repeats. The small 3-way switch chooses the note intervals that
the delay repetitions are based on.

This TC Electronic Alter Ego V2 dates to 2021, and it shows some minor scuffs and signs of use (see photos). It functions 100% as it should, and it sounds fantastic. There's a lot of versatility in this delay! It includes the original box and cable for the TonePrint. The previous owner put micro dual lock velcro on the bottom.
