There’s nothing quite like the warm, dry sound of an all-mahogany guitar. This 2001 Martin D-15 is one the better bargains in our shop. Although the D-15 model has changed somewhat since 2001, most of the changes are purely aesthetic. This made-in-America D-15 sports a solid Mahogany top and Mahogany back and sides. Its tone is big and full—as you’d expect from a dreadnought—but it is warm and rich with a nicely-rounded mid-range. Like most mahogany guitars, its output is even and restrained, so it accompanies voice nicely and also mics very well in a studio. This 2001 Martin D-15 is in excellent condition. it shows some cosmetic play wear to the top, but it has no history of repairs or issues. Its frets are pristine with plenty of life left, and the setup is nice and inviting with low action and a 1-11/16″ nut width. Please call (970) 728-9592 or e-mail for an in-hand description.
